Which country is the rudest and which country is the friendliest to tourists?
Oh god.I’ve traveled across nations, and most of them are just average (Not so good, not so bad). But let me conclude what I’ve got so far;
Friendliest: JAPAN
I swear to god, they’re such a really nice person. I, as a tourist felt like I was treated as a king, lol. On the first day I arrived at Tokyo, I didn’t know where my hotel was and I was completely lost. Then there’s this helpful guy who asked my hotel. He searched it on his GPS and showed me the way. He also insist on bringing my luggage as well. As I arrived at my hotel, I intend to give him some tips. He refused and smile, whilst saying “Hope you enjoyed your trip!”The next morning, I was trying to find a good warm breakfast with 3 of my friends. We decided to eat Yoshinoya. It turns out that the seats are all full and occupied. What was left was a 2 seat table. A man with a child was sitting in a 4 seat table, he immediately moves to the 2 seat table as he sees us. He was smiling to us as we thank him.Later, I was trying to find a way to Shibuya station. I asked a person nearby, and she seemed having trouble speaking english. But still, she was giving that effort to help. She asked me to repeat my sentence. She then realized; “Ah, Shibuya O?”. She searched it on her phone and showed me the directions. I thank her, and then she bowed.As I was trying to take a picture, an old woman passes by. She then realized that I was trying to take a picture. She bowed whilst apologizing to me.
I loved how Japanese bowed to thank, for me it shows full respect.Rudest: well..like what other people said ;
FRANCE
Well, not exactly France. It was meant to be PARIS.Instead of city of love, it supposed to be city of porn! Nude pictures everywhere. Pamphlets on the grounds, posters on the phone box, everywhere! I found this uncomfortable as I was traveling with younger students. Yet, I witnessed a raping on the street of Paris.I was walking to the closest McDonalds to buy some foods to eat at the hotel. As soon as I bought some burgers, a beggar approached me and beg me for money. I gave her 1 euro. I just realized that there are more of her friends hiding and waiting behind an abandoned building. All of them started to approach me and asked if they could eat the burger. One of them scratches me and pulls my shirts as I was fleeing from them.I used a taxi to go to Louvre that night. When I arrived, I immediately paid for the fare. He actually stops his taxi and took some rest nearby. I then realized that I left my phone on the taxi. I shouted and waved at him. He saw me, and left as I was chasing him.It seems that the goddamn Parisians likes to criticize and judge people. I was in a fashion outlet with “hundreds” of their staff, none of them greeted me. They give that snobby look to customers. - Same case happened when I ask a man to take a photo of me in front of Moulin Rouge. “ Why would I took a picture of you, I don’t even know you - fucking model cunt”. That’s the point where I started to use the selfie stick.
This makes me felt disappointed on France. The government should’ve take care of this simple, yet annoying things.
