The Diary

Oh well, why not, keep a diary as if I have nothing else to do than share my entire baptism with a bunch of uninterested, bored platform users who sit there clicking away on their keyboards all day.

No, I didn't get up early today because I have no reason to and I could also start the day in bed with my team mate, since it's winter, I'll just stay in bed until it suits me to get up, for a cup of tea of course and since everyone always brushes their teeth and freshens up I skipped that too. After all, the diary is a game if I may believe the word and I hate games, if only because there is no creativity allowed and you always have to play by the rules printed in that little elephant-shaped book. Aren't games supposed to be fun?
What did I do? I got out of bed to feed the cat and drink tea and later I went outside to play with the wolves. I didn't do the shit shoveling because a day later doesn't matter so I went to see how my paint was doing. You know that cardboard palette where I put dried out lumpy paint four days ago and some watery thin that splattered everywhere it looked like diarrhea and of course my pants were covered in it too. It seemed less cold so I just dabbled on paper with my brain switched off because I felt quite agitated because of plagiarism and the hypocrisy that goes with it and why the average Joe is punished while it doesn't matter to others. So I painted a bit but actually the sheet of 80 mg printer paper I used was much too small. This time I only needed 4 brushes instead of 5 so that saved me some cleaning even though it's a piece of cake under the tap.
It was awfully cold in the house and I had also installed the cat outside so he could spread his hair there, go bird watching and eat some grass. After painting I drank tea (really interesting but who knows I might write history for humans or aliens in the distant future).
By the way, the intention was to check the rental contract and also put the pile of books up for sale on Marktplaats (a particularly boring task that I absolutely do not feel like doing).
Did I eat anything today? Oh yes, bread that I cut into pieces and gave to the cat. At the end of the day I made a fire both inside and outside but the house does not really get warm from it, what I do notice is that without a fire there is a nice draft in the house and that cold gust of wind never gets used to.
It is 2:22 a nice time to go to bed good night and no, we do not sleep during the day here.

Your writing style is very different and very enjoyable. His humor and sarcasm in the way he portrays common day to day events is truly admirable. The real skill of writing is revealed in capturing the small moments of life so interestingly. 🙂

Well thank you. Let's say I reflect what others write. A plus if you read a lot.

Amazing read. Here, we sleep during the day, sometimes. Mostly in the summer. It's called siesta.
Stong ironies there! Excellent work.

We wake up, work like a horse no matter how long and go to bed. No rest, no breaks

I used to do that... Up to the point of not even getting any sleep. In the end, it's not worth it.

We have no choice. Long days driving to work 1-2 hours, work, driving back and nearly no national holidays left

Where exactly do you live? That sounds like the 80's in Britain.

What type of tea do you drink?

I'm not sure what I read honestly... But, I think this fits so much as a diary post. XD

Is it? Or is it a parody on the never ending I woke up and brushed my teeth?

I don't know.. It's weird. I think it's the first time that I am reading something and I feel this lost XD.. LOL
