KNOWLEDGE AND LIGHT: THE STRENGTHS FOR SPEED

"A wise man is strong, YES, A MAN OF KNOWLEDGE INCREASES STRENGTH."
Proverbs 24:5 (NKJV)

• What you know, your level of knowledge determines your speed in the journey of life.

• The level of the brightness of the light in you, determines your strength and speed in Life.
• Knowledge gives light. Information helps to understand.
• You would need to check how you spend your time, what you spend it on, and the people you spend your time with; that by and large determines the results you have in Life.
• Whatever the matter, the problems which you may be having, has a solution and the solution can be found in the Word of God.

• How to acquire knowledge and receive the Light

(a) The Word of God is the primary source of knowledge: "YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET AND A LIGHT TO MY PATH" (Psalm 119:105).

• Read the Word with an open heart, and ask the Holy Spirit to tutor you (1 Corinthians 2:9-12).
• Ask God to open your eyes of understanding, and your mind be illuminated that you may know what your inheritance is, that is, what He has for you:
  17 THAT the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM, 18 THE EYES OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING BEING ENLIGHTENED; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, WHAT ARE THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS" (Ephesians 1:17,18 NKJV).

(b) You have a duty to keep your mind young and active.

• Strength is gotten through knowledge of the Word of God. You should not stop learning. Daniel understood the number of years the Israelites were to spend in the captivity through the book of Jeremiah (Daniel 9:2).
• The understanding which Daniel received through what he read in the books prompted him to pray for the release of the Israelites, the fulfilment of what the Lord had spoken through Prophet Jeremiah: "IN the first year of his reign I, DANIEL, UNDERSTOOD BY THE BOOKS THE NUMBER OF THE YEARS SPECIFIED BY THE WORD OF THE LORD THROUGH JEREMIAH THE PROPHET, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 THEN I SET MY FACE TOWARDS THE LORD GOD TO MAKE REQUEST BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATIONS, WITH FASTING, sackcloth, and ashes" (Daniel 9:2,3).
• You update yourself through the knowledge of the Word of God. The knowledge which you have received through the Word of God helps you in handling the issues of life.
• That said, knowledge in your field of endeavour needs upgraded as well. You should not be a novice in whatever you are doing.
  EVEN God would not put a novice to work: "[A bishop must] not [be] a NOVICE, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil" (1 Timothy 3:6).
• God wants whoever will work in His Kingdom or vineyard to be of sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Someone who has the understanding of Him and His ways (Psalm 103:7).
• One of the proves that showed you are eligible or qualified for His work is the depth of the revelation of Him that you have.
• Whoever is approved for His work, He reveals Himself to. Those who have revelation of Him are the ones He chose (Galatians 1:11,12).
• Thus, do not stop growing in knowledge as a person; and be increasing and expanding in your field of endeavour.
• Know that you could not get beyond what you know; so there is a need to seek and acquire a working knowledge, in order to increase in whatever you do.

(c) Association

• The company of people you keep, the friends you move with, the church you attend, and the people you hang about with, determined your results in Life.
• The influence of the people you associate with, is of immense importance. Do not underestimate the power of influence: "DO NOT BE DECEIVED: “EVIL COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD HABITS” (1 Corinthians 15:33).
• As a result of this, you carefully choose the people you relate with, the people you permit or give an access in your life.

(e) The work or role of your Pastor or Prophet

• The work of your Pastor is to mentor and take a spiritual oversight of your Life, in whatever you do (Hebrews 13:7,17).
• Your Pastor could serve as your financial mentor, if he or she has an understanding of the biblical financial principles.
• You pay your tithes, give offerings, sow seeds, and give to the projects commanded by God or whatever vision given to the leaders whom God has used to bless you spiritually.
• You also give venison, sow to the life of your Pastor or Prophet, or whoever Minister and Ministry that God has blessed you through; in order to regularly receive prophetic impartation for fresh anointing from such.
• You need the anointing, the divine enabling, to breakthrough, forge ahead and succeed in your assignment or whatever you do. Either in the secular work or the Kingdom Business.
• The anointing comes through the prophetic impartation (1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6).
  AND it is provoked through the sowing of monetary seeds or other material things, to the life and ministry of whoever your Prophet or Pastor is:
  15 NOW you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, NO CHURCH SHARED WITH ME [Paul] CONCERNING GIVING AND RECEIVING BUT YOU ONLY. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:15-19 NKJV).

• In conclusion, what you know determines the level of light in you, and the brightness of your light determines your speed in Life—how fast you run in this world of darkness.

• Whatever darkness hanging over your life is rebuked, and I declare light in Jesus' name.
