RE: Creating cast forms with latex milk and PU-Foam
I realy enjoyed that. This is something I need to yry at some point for my sculptures. I know you can make the moulds up in diferrent parts with joins and you can use 'buttons' in the outer jacket to locate all the sections. I just dont know how to do it. I think there is a resin or something brushable you can put on the outside of the latex? Have you heard of Jesmonite? That can be used instead of epoxy and looks realy good. It can be made to look like bronze or marble etc. Looking forward to more. Have a great holiday Man
Thanks for watching and enjoying :)
Yeah I think silicon is brushable and there are heat resistent ones on the marked. But with the PU-Foam it would work with the jesemite I think :D
I never heard about jesemite and I have to take a look for a retailer in my region someday.
The trick with the joins is nice and definitely a tryout worth!
Thanks for resteeming btw and see you back soon :)
Peace
