Whats TV? ;-} I gave that up over 10 years ago. To damn many commercials and they were driving me crazy. I mean really who would buy an incontinence pill that helps you not pee, but the number one side effect is that it gives you dry mouth, and the only know cure for dry mouth is to drink something, and we all know what happens when you drink something, you need to pee, so then you take a pill, and don't need to pee, but then the dry mouth comes back, and face it eventually you are going to need to pee. so what the hell was the purpose of a pill to stop you from needing to pee that was going to make you thirsty, so you would need to pee.
Sorry for the rant, I hated that commercial, and so gave up TV.
It is much easier for me also to remember when I read, and I love to read, the pictures are generally much more clear than any video could make.
I liked this post. Always know who is standing behind you and then question why.
I gave up watching TV in 'about' 1969...when I got out of high school. Actually I didn't watch it very much before then. Like you said...silly nauseating commercials...and stupid shows..
I think one of the only quality shows I ever watched was Dark Shadows, and I was just a kid then, so do not remember much of it, just that it was about Vampires, probably why I enjoy those stories.
