Calloway is a classic 1980s Newjack Swing and R&B group who had one big hit.

Calloway is from Cincinnati, and began their career during the Motown and Newjack Swing era. The Midwestern United States yielded some amazing artists at the time and this band fit thr jazzy and soulful sound popular at the time.

Calloway has a smooth delivery and sounds similar to New Edition and Bobby Brown. The band is very soulful and their major hit "I Wanna be Rich" hit the Billboard charts in 1989. The band broke up and he focused on wiring lyrics for other artists and raising funds for development of other artists.
