At the same time I think many people can benefit if they would outsource a white paper. When I was helping my gf to establish her own small business, then we ordered 2 "business plans" just to see what else can we learn from 3rd party.
So it's not such a bad idea to be able to work with those who can make a "draft" and then you can use it to improve your own work.
Does it make sense?
If you want to flesh out a biz plan I would keep it within the team assuming my focus is pitching my VC’s. Buying a white paper proves two things: they don’t know what they are doing and they can’t explain it in a concise manner. I’ve had VC tell me to write the plan on a index card and come in with the demo. True story and it was a good meeting.
If I am going to ask people to spend their money on an ico, I am, going to sit in front of that computer to get my thoughts down. White papers are diffucult but they are more like a thought exercise. Nobody who specializes in white papers is good at it unless they are doing it for themselves and not to make money. White papers are written by a academics who are experts in their fields. These jerks are giving them bullet points to the freelancer to touch upon. It’s a scary thought and more people need to know. Please REsteem to spread the word. The truth is that Im very curious how those outsourced white papers could even look like. How valuable could it be.

They can’t look good. I read a lot and I suspect 20% or more are outsourced. Not worth the paper they are printed on.
