The Ampera Platform and Cryptocurrency

Ampera (abbreviated as Axa) is the name of both of a cryptocurrency, and the platform it runs on. The Ampera Platform is a system for asset trading that is backed by tokens. Using the Ampera platform, you can deposit an asset such as Bitcoin, and receive a token that can then be easily traded to others on the platform. When you're ready to withdraw an asset, your tokens can be traded back into the original asset at a 1:1 ratio. In addition to the assets available on the Ampera platform, there is also a cryptocurrency, which as stated earlier, is also called Ampera. The Ampera currency provides an easy to use, universal currency for trading assets on the platform, and unlike other alt-coins which are usually based on the ethereum blockchain, Ampera runs on its own custom blockchain and utilizes the SHA3-512 for mining.

The Current State of Ampera

The Ampera Platform and Client is currently in beta development, but has plenty of operational features. Currently (as of Beta Version 0.18.4.2), the Ampera client includes:

• Fully Operational Transactions Between User Wallets
  • Creation of Multiple Addresses for a Single Wallet
• Solo and Pool Mining Options
• An In-Client Block Explorer, and an Expanded Block Explorer that can be Found at (http://blockexplorer.space).
• The Ampera Decentralized Exchange (ADX). An In-Client Exchange Where Users can Trade Ampera and Asset Tokens.
• Full Support for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Asset Tokens.
