I am no stranger to anxiety. It can sneak up on me in the most unexpected moments, like when I'm about to give a big presentation or when I can not find my phone and imagine the worst. Sometimes, just the thought of social gatherings makes my heart race.

Anxiety also strikes when I am stuck in traffic & running late, or even when I have to choose what to watch on Netflix.

These everyday situations can turn into a whirlwind of nerves. How about you? What gets your anxiety gears turning?

How do you deal with this feeling?

When anxiety hits, I hve got a few tricks up my sleeve. Deep breaths are my go-to move, like hitting the reset button on my brain. Sometimes, I just close my eyes and imagine I am on a beach, even if I'm actually stuck in traffic.

I also turn to my trusty playlist of feel-good songs. There’s something about belting out an 80s power ballad that makes anxiety take a back seat. And let’s not forget the power of a good laugh – a funny cat video can work wonders.

Exercise is another lifesaver. Whether it’s a quick jog or a dance-off in my living room, moving around helps shake off the jitters. How do you tackle your anxious moments?

Some tips to avoid suffering from anxiety.

To dodge anxiety, try setting up a solid routine. It’s like giving your day a cozy blanket of predictability. Wake up at the same time, have a morning ritual, and stick to it. You’ll be amazed at how much this helps.

Another tip is to get moving. Exercise isn’t just good for your body; it’s like a spa day for your mind. A little sweat can wash away a lot of worries. Plus, who doesn’t feel better after a spontaneous dance party?

And don’t underestimate the power of “me time.” Find activities that relax you, whether it’s reading, gardening, or binge-watching your favorite series. Keeping stress at bay is all about balance and knowing when to take a break.

And the last but not least tip.....,,

To stay connected with friends and family. "A problem shared is a problem halved."

Talking to someone you trust can provide relief and a new perspective. Laughter and support from loved ones can be powerful antidotes to anxiety.
