We are who and where we are because of the decisions we made in the past. We are never where we are because of God. If you are poor or rich, remember it is not because of him. Don’t get me wrong, God is responsible for everything and has given us every tool we need to live the life we want to live. He has given us FREE WILL; the ability to decide for ourselves how we want to live. He has also gifted us with a powerful book called the Bible and its contents if used properly could change lives.

In Romans 6:14, the holy Bible tells us something very important that it seems most people do not fully understand.” For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace”. What does this really mean? To me it means all those rules used to rule lives in the old testament do not come into play in our today’s life. To me it means Jesus Christ’s death on the cross cleared all our sins; past, present and future ones as well. Now here is my question, why then do we not pay attention to the real problems affecting us but rather tend to dwell on unprofitable ventures? We Christians are all under the grace therefore committing sinful acts should not be our main concern rather we should gear all our efforts towards utilizing the grace bestowed on us fully. If you are a Christian out there and you can walk, talk, hear and speak, use it to impact positively in the lives of people who cannot. some say it’s too hard to even help myself so how can I help someone else? For that my friend, the answer is seeking information and updating yourself always.

Find something you love and learn how to turn it into something the world would appreciate. All I am asking you guys is not to put all your faith into what one person says. I know someone might disagree with me on this topic and yet this what I stand by. Don’t make the wrong decision today and blame it on ignorance. We should focus more on read the word, understanding it and applying it in our daily lives. It’s not easy to be a committed Christian in today’s society but it rewards a lot if you live a Christ-like life. Remember not to be pointing out the faults or better still the sins of people but rather share with them what you have learnt and understood from the bible. Christ came for sinners and not righteous souls so if you believe you are a true Christian, preach the good works of our lord.
