Street Photography Challenge Week - 79 | "📷Capture, Click, Compete📷" - At the skating rink

Hi everybody!

I took these photos today while walking. Last November, a skating rink was built on the outskirts of my town for ice skating enthusiasts. I can't skate, but I like figure skating and I love watching others skate.

The city skating rink is a popular winter attraction that attracts many people, especially on weekends. You can see people of all ages here, but mostly young people, teenagers and children skate on the rink.

Some visitors to the rink feel very confident on the ice! They even try to perform some elements of figure skating. And there are those who need help from a "penguin".

"Penguin" is a special support that supports beginner figure skaters on the ice. It is called that because it is often made in the shape of a penguin, but today at the rink I saw similar supports in the shape of a calf and a dolphin.

I think that with such support, beginner skating enthusiasts don’t have to worry about falling!
