Hi everybody!

Today, in the age of automobiles, a horse on a city street is a rather unusual sight. But they can often be seen during city holidays, in tourist areas and near amusement parks. I love horses very much, so when I meet them, I always pay attention to them.

I took these photos this year, on January 7th. That day my family and I went on a short trip to the ancient city of Kolomna. In the old city tourists were offered an attraction - a ride in a carriage pulled by a pair of horses. We did not go for a ride, but I took a photo. The next time we walked past these horses, they were having lunch. The owner was giving them food from a bucket right on the street and the feeding procedure attracted a number of passers-by. We also stopped to watch the horses eat and I took another photo of them.
