Food Photography Challenge - Week 82 | "📷Capture, Click, Compete!📷" - Pancakes (Bliny)
Hi everybody!
Yesterday, Maslenitsa week ended.
Maslenitsa is an ancient pagan holiday that has survived to this day. During the week, there is a farewell to winter, which in our latitudes can be long and harsh, and a joyful welcome to spring. And the main dish of this holiday is pancakes, similar to a solar disk. They are baked daily throughout the holiday week in large quantities and made with different fillings.
Over the weekend, a friend invited me to visit for a festive tea party. She baked a lot of pancakes and tried to set the table in accordance with the theme of the holiday. I was delighted with her imagination and happily took this photo.
