How My Day Went Today

Today is a good Friday, which is also known as holy Friday, which is a very interesting day in the Catholic calendar. In the Catholic church, it is a solemn Christian holy day commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.

I like attending Good Friday, for it is a great day where the crucifixion of Jesus is practically demonstrated in the Catholic faith. In my town, it is well observed, and I was happy to be part of those who attended the activities today.

It all started with the Station of the Cross at Ola girl's school. However, I got to the venue a bit late but was still able to meet up with the drama, which is what usually makes my day happy. Everything that led to the arrest and death of Jesus Christ was practically displayed in the form of drama.

People from different places in the town attended the Good Friday celebration. The only problem was the sun that was too high during the time of procession to the church premises. We did the station of the cross from the Ola girls school down to the church which is about 2 kilometres from the school to the church.
