Macro Photography Challenge - Week 83 - Burj Khalifa
The construction of the Burj Khalifa started in 2004, and by 2009, its outer part was finished after five years of work. The main framework consists of what we call (reinforced concrete), and a portion of the structural steel was sourced from the Palace of the Republic, which served as the East German parliament in Berlin. The official opening of the building took place in 2010, marking it as a key feature of a significant new project named Downtown Dubai. It was intended to serve as the focal point of an extensive, multipurpose development.
