Starting new today

I read one can crochet a pair of arm warmers in 2 hours. That does not apply to me, I need 2 of 33 cm. I started but don't like the result plus I lack red wool. Today I'll try something else. I'll use a bigger needle, red and white, and a bobble stitch out of 3 or 4 half double crochet instead of 5.

It will be a struggle to make something out of the box of wool. I have plenty of needles but it seems it's never the right one and there isn't enough wool of the same kind.
