It is very unfortunate indeed. I guess folks think because they are cats they will survive just fine. That isn't the case as you and I know. I feed stray cats and a couple skunks and an occasional coon every day. I can't bear to see them suffer. Love my critters more than I do my humans at times. :) Bless your heart for helping the helpless.
