BMW M850i Convertible First Look & Drive
The BMW M850i retails for £107,000 now that may seem expensive for a convertible, it isn't, and it has some rather high expectations to satisfy.
It's powered by an almighty TwinPower Turbo V8 which develops 530bhp and is Turbo charged, as for torque this number is a mind blowing 750nm.
It comes with xDrive, BMW's AWD sysytem we first experienced in the i8.
The new BMW M850i xDrive, will hit 0 to 62mph in 3.9 seconds,
With this much power you need some state of the art tech, namely Adaptive M Suspension, an M Sport differential, Integral Active Steering as well as xDrive and an 8 speed rather special auto.
It has beautiful muscular quarters, 20” light alloy wheels, the slimmest BMW Icon Adaptive LED headlights (or BMW Laserlights if you prefer) and a soft top roof openable and closable at upto 31mph and in just 18 seconds.
Meaning you don't need to stop, we tested this and it works seamlessly.
The interior includes a 10.25in infotainment screen, navigation in the cluster and Merino leather.
This car is literally amazing.
