RE: Perpetual Indoor/Outdoor Grow Journal #14: Autos in Bloom and a Seed Drop

in #cannabis7 years ago

If it is the Oregon Train Wreck I recommend it (vs. the strain known as Train Wreck in Northern California which is more of a Green Queen / Mean Green variant - the Oregon Train Wreck seems to be its own lineage). Easy to grow outdoors and I absolutely love the taste and high. It used to be one of the more common strains around here (I live in Eugene, OR) and seems to have fallen out of a favor as people go for all these new strains. It is still one of my all time fav highs.

It looks like this is an auto version by Crop King Seeds, kinda generic copycat Canadian seedbank that tries to upsell their stuff under hot names... hmm I think I'm through with autos for now, I've popped 3 x THC Bomb Auto for outdoor, but that's it. Kinda not for me due to uncontrollable flowering.

I have more seeds coming though, so I'll be able to pick what really turns me on. Otherwise I'll probably buy some Ace's gear or start this Bushmans, cause I'm running low on sativa bud :)

It's really a transition period for me. I need to limit outdoor growing a lot and get back to mostly indoor for a while, which means smaller numbers.. but this gives me some more wiggle room for early spring planting and I like to use both for optimal quality... well so far it works :)

Ah yeah the more generic / common Trainwreck is okay but really nothing to write home about. The Oregon variant has more of a licorice taste and a really nice creeper high

I only saw NorCal clone online. Hardy sativa hybrid with notoriously low yield, but excellent flowers... so they say.

I grew feminised version from HSO outdoor. Far from original structure, but flowering time was there and high more or less as described.
