EXCUSE ME, IS THIS THE RIGHT DIRECTION?.... NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀
Excuse me, is this the right direction?😊
When Silvertop was learning to fly, I always paused as I walked by a poster tacked to the wall at the airport.
It read……………
“ The sky more than the sea is terribly unforgiving!”😳
The photo of an aircraft crashed upside down on this poster was even more of a wake up call…………
Hiking unfamiliar trails in the mountains can be just as dangerous and unforgiving!🙄
The first time Liz and Silvertop explored the network of trails up at the Gold Mine, we didn’t have a clue where the trail we were on was going!😮
Life is certainly an adventure, and that’s what we were on as well!😇
I tend to stick to “main” trails when I really don’t know what’s up around the next bend!
Up at the History-log cabin someone painted a somewhat vague trail map on a board, and attached it to the interior wall.
“Liz, looking at this map I think we are here……… maybe Lol!”☺️
Looking back now we really weren’t in any danger of getting lost, maybe just tired from walking Lol!😅
I asked “Grok” the AI search engine and this is what it said……..
“The full loop including the cabin is anywhere between 3.1 and 3.6 miles and can be extended to 5 miles”
Extended….. that’s unplanned side trails Lol!☺️
Actually if you deviate from the main network of trails, you can hike all the way to my friend @kerrislravenhill in Beautiful British Columbia!😊
On this particular day, we were happy to make it just to the cabin!
We hiked back downhill on this same path, and soon saw the familiar red barn that you see in the second last photo!
We were back at the beginning…… at the trailhead!🤗
Have an adventure, and have fun my friends, just don’t lose sight of the correct trail in life!😇
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
