I thought engineer would make great jurors because we are so impartial to everything but fact. But based on the video (which I barely heard), the lawyers only select the ones that they think might agree with their version of the case, so maybe you are right because I'm super impartial to anything.

I wonder what I should do or not do to get on a case or not.

Sort:  

the plaintiff vs the defendant's attorney would have different reasons to want someone to be partial or impartial. so it really would be based on the specific case. besides the actual responses given, i'd say race, personality, occupation, location/place of residence all are key factors that play into who gets selected / dismissed.

*ps. i've been called for jury duty a couple of times but was never selected...

Yea I think that's gonna be the case. It depends on the lawyers strategy. Whatever he chooses though, I have to listen to what he says to the other jurors unless I'm up first.
