Bitcoin (BTC) is selling at 1000$ in Nigeria

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Nigerian Whatsapp groups are selling BTC at much cheaper rate. I am not sure why and to be honest I haven't purchased yet because of the obvious trust issues. But it's true and it is not an old msg. If you join Nigerian whatsapp groups for Bitcoin, you will get these msgs from multiple users. you can join many Nigerian Bitcoin Whatsapp groups from FB. I have joined many Nigerian Whatsapp groups and got these msgs. I have tried to fix a deal using Paypal but they did not accept and asked me to send money via western union.

The reasons for selling at the cheaper rate is a mystery to me but I suppose they might have purchased BTC at the cheaper rate and now its up and they cannot find buyers in Nigeria. I asked one guy why he is selling cheap than the market and he simply replied I need money.

I am posting few Facebook groups where you can find their Whatsapp.

Great. Thanks for sharing. I vote for you and begin to follow you. And Resteemed...

Is this price only for p2p trading or there are Nigerian Online Exchanges using this rate?

Hello @tcc.buster

It is very obvious that those are scams. Never even consider buying from any of those sellers, you will lose your money.

One bitcoin currently costs over $4500.
