What coins do people believe in the most in July ? A quick analysis of Facebook polls
While more and more new crypto-currencies appear on the market every week, it can be quite difficult for newcomers to dig through the never ending flow of informations.
What coin is really worth the investment ? What currency should be avoided ? Should I invest in an ICO ?
Well, the reality is that, sadly, no one holds the ultimate answer. In fact, with the ever-present pump and dump schemes infesting the market, every crypto trader has his own selfish opinion about the subject.
However, while it is true that a lot of coins/projects do not have a bright future ahead of themselves, some of them, if backed by an active developers team, a lively community and based on a new and innovative idea , could break through (or "go to the moon" as the saying goes).
One way to do your research (also the main subject of this article), is to organize polls. Some Facebook groups ask their members what coin they believe in the most on a regular basis.
The poll above was realized by a prominent crypto-currency you-tuber within his 7k Facebook group.
While most of people may already be familiar with likes of Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum, some names are not that well known as of today.
I will provide you with links (official websites and exchanges) to some of the "newer" names on the list (the ones who got the most up-votes), so you can investigate for yourself.
Remember, even polls can sometimes be misleading, it should never prevent you from doing some research on your own !!
ANTSHARES ( NEO)
A lot of you may already be aware of what could be the "Chinese ethereum". When the Chinese back a project (taking into account their high population and inherent patriotism), it certainly won't hurt it's future market value. Here is the link to their English website. It is currently available at Bittrex.

BITQUENCE
This coin was freshly launched a week ago. It revolves around making crypto-currency services easier to use and available to everybody (with the creation of a "user friendly" crypto wallet). It already gets a lot of traction, and with an active team behind it, it's future looks rather good.
If you're interested in the technical details, or want to grab the white paper, follow the link.
It's currently only available at https://www.coinexchange.io/ but will be registered at Bittrex on August the 1st.
Stratis
The main innovation Stratis brings to the table is the simplification of the blockchain app creation process for businesses (stratis block chain apps can be developed in C# and utilize the Microsoft .NET framework).
It is currently available at all the major exchanges (Poloniex, Bittrex...)

Here are the links to the other projects listed in the poll :
SIA
EOS
GOLEM
RIPPLE (Bank favorite)
VERGE (Monero competitor ? Proceed with caution)

IOTA (could become big, thanks to the IoT)
As I mentioned before, only buy the coins you (yes, you) really believe in. If you're not very tech-savvy, read as much as you can. This article was mainly meant for you.
Veteran investors probably already heard about all the coins I mentioned (with the exception of Bitquence perhaps).
Thanks for the read. I hope I helped some of you out (or at least provided you with an interesting read !)
Promised you an upvote so here you go. Actually a very well written recap. Nice one.
