Bitcoin has been under attack. Check out abovetopsecret.com they have an article showing data from wikileaks where the US govt and China are working to eliminate the internet we currently use to eliminate the threat of btc to fiat money. Scary stuff!!!
After searching that site, I couldn't find that particular article you mentioned. Indeed scary, though...
