Group of Small Mushrooms
I am delighted to show you some of my new mushroom finding that I recently found in my neighbor's backyard. These, as you know, are small mushrooms that love to live on trunks or dead wood. It appears, they had been there for quite some time, and I just found them yesterday when I was strolling around the backyard to look for the birds. I noticed them when I was about to leave the place and straightly attracted my attention to take shots. Having them around gave me much time to play with a lot of clicks. The mushrooms bloom from filament-like strands or threads (known as mycelium) that grow in the wood. Interestingly, these mushrooms are edible, but they are so fragile and insubstantial that they are not worth harvesting. As most of them grew in the shady spot, I managed to take them out to the light. Some mushrooms are very small that took me some time to get the focus.
