My Art History/ A Tale of Growth 👩‍🎨

Playing with different styles of art always was a great learning experience for me. I felt it was important to not get stuck with only one type of style or mediums.

This was sketched out with pencil, a 4b is a good choice. Always try not to push to hard on your paper so not to indent or make it difficult to erase easily.

Once i had a nice solid image i used watercolor to finish the portrait to give it a pop art style.

The portrait i feel is the most fascinating and complex drawing for me. I started when i was very young and have continued for the last 50 yrs.

The drawing below i drew when i was in the 9th grade. It was picked by the teacher to hang in the hall of our school.

I was very proud. 😊

I am very much older now and i have learned to practice and learn from other resources and other artists. But most importantly dont get discouraged. Just have a blast!! 😁
