In smaller airports, the cutoff time may be was 30 or 45 minutes before departure, depending on whether passengers have checked bags.
Now It's much safer to get there at least 90 minutes ahead of time, or better yet, two hours in advance of departure; that's what the TSA recommends.

Will this great time ever comeback ?
