Nature Photos of the Day: Frogs, Spiders, and Snails - American Steem

Another week in the books here in North Carolina, where it rains each and every day now. This week, we had the remnants of Hurricane Helene hit here, which was basically just a ton of steady rain. All the critters liked it!

I caught this little guy sleeping not once but twice in different roses.

I tried to get a picture of him starring at me, but I could not for the life of me get the camera to focus (keep in mind he's only the size of a dime).

He's had enough by this point.

When I was a kid, I'd rush to find the salt in the morning when these little buggers came out...now I love their little slimy trails. lol

I found this baby in the compost pile. While she's not venomous, this is why you should always wear gloves while doing yard work. Still a complete amateur with this macro lens, so bear with me as I learn.
