My Actifit Report Card: February 25 2025

Sunny and mild weather made for perfect running conditions up at Granite Basin this morning 🌄 and I was able to enjoy almost 6 hilly miles on the scenic single-track trails through the forest.

There were several cars already at the trailhead and I met a few hikers and horse riders along the way but the conditions were perfect although the up and downs did slow my pace quite a bit (not that I was looking for a fast run).
Hopefully I'll drop some more weight over the next 2 months leading up to my next ultra try in NM - a 34 hour trail run - which will be an adventure for sure.
A couple of easy miles back at Lynx Lake to finish the day. Still very low water so Lulu couldn't take a swim but plenty of pretty scenery for us to enjoy 😀.
