Shantiniketan, West Bengal, India is famous for famous Nobel laureate writer, poem and philanthropist Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore .
Shantiniketan is also famous for it's rural natural beauties and the creativities of different famous educators, artists. Visva Bharati University is also situated here , where students and teachers from different part of the globe come to share their knowledges.
Shantiniketan is also the home of another Nobel Laureate Economist Dr. Amartya Sen. Still now, whenever he is in India , he will come to visit this place.
