NIMROD THE MUTANT DINOSAUR

Once upon a time there was a dinosaur named Nimrod. He didn’t know that he was extinct and so this lack of insight caused him to go about trying to rule the world. After all, his fathers before him had all built mighty kingdoms and Nimrod never stopped to think about the fact that all of their kingdoms had crumbled or why they had crumbled.
So, having laid his plans, he began to bully his way around and forcing everyone, by his sheer size to conform to his growing kingdom. His grandfathers had built their kingdoms before him and so he decided upon a brilliant plan. He would combine all of their methods into one new Order. This way he could build a kingdom that would cover the entire planet. This time it would last forever!
On his mantel he proudly displayed pictures of his forefathers. There was Babaloon, the great dinosaur king of the Golden Kingdom. There was Medoc, the renowned Dinosaur of the Silver Kingdom. There was Grice, the highly intellectual Dinosaur over the kingdom of Brass Kingdom and then there was Romulo, the mutant Dinosaur king of the Romulan Kingdom. He was known for his exceptional fierceness and giant slashing teeth. Grandfather Romulo had ruled for a long time, but at last his kingdom had crumbled as well.
But Nimrod, presuming that he now held the collective wisdom of all of his forefathers, figured that he could now successfully accomplish what they had not been able to accomplish. He had new weapons and even bigger teeth than his grandfather Romulo. This time he would succeed and his kingdom would last forever.
There was one small problem nagging Nimrod’s mind however… It made him toss and turn in his 40 foot bed at night. Over and over again he kept remembering what had happened during his grandfather Romulo’s reign. There had been a very small and insignificant Dragon Slayer, living in an obscure quadrant of his kingdom that had raised quite the ruckus. Many people started following him for His benevolent powers and His great teaching. Of course, Grandfather Romulo had squashed the movement and killed the foolish Dragon Slayer, but that was only the beginning of his problems.
Word had gotten around that the Dragon Slayer had actually risen from the dead and a great following began to grow in His grandfather’s kingdom until Romulan was divided into many factions. The kingdom was weakened and eventually it collapsed and fell under its own weight.
But that had been a long time ago and Nimrod was satisfied that after all this time the stories of the Dragon Slayer would have been laid to rest. And so Nimrod, the mutant dinosaur, decided that now would be the perfect time to build his global kingdom.
Taking every precaution, and with attention to every detail, Nimrod the mutant dinosaur offered new curriculums to schools so that children would forget the true history of his grandfather Romulo’s defeat. He then passed laws outlawing any activity related to the Dragon Slayer and His followers. He made sure that there would be no talk of the Dragon Slayer in public.
Next he went around tearing down small nations so that in time chaos would rule the land. When all was hopeless and in despair Nimrod would step in and offer a global solution to local problems and in this way he would gain control of all people. It was the perfect dinosaur plan. He would not fail again!
Nimrod thrashed and slashed his way through society, everywhere destroying the foundations of civilization and removing all of the old paradigms by which people had lived. He did everything in his power to erase all signs of the Dragon Slayer and then with one final act, He organized ten dinosaur kings to rule under him. Now he was ready to accomplish his crowning achievement. He would build his world capital right in the very spot where the dragon slayer had lived and taught and died. This time he would make sure that any new actions from the Dragon Slayer’s followers would be squelched and destroyed long before they could gain traction.
Everything was going great for a time, but one day a big rock from a supposedly extinct volcano fell out of the sky and struck Nimrod the mutant dinosaur on the head, knocking him to the ground and pinning him under its massive weight. The rock began to grow and grow until it filled the entire world. The followers of the dragon slayer rose up against him and cried out for the return of the Dragon Slayer. With renewed zeal the followers began to shout, “Long live the Dragon Slayer… Long live the Dragon slayer. “In answer to their many pleas, the Dragon Slayer showed up with a vast army of helpers. There was a great battle and Nimrod the mutant dinosaur and his followers were defeated. The Mighty Dragon Slayer rounded up Nimrod the mutant dinosaur and his evil followers and cast them into a giant cauldron of burning fire.
Then the dragon slayer and His friends took over the kingdom and repaired all of its brokenness and lost dreams and they lived in the new land for 1000 years. During this time of freedom and plenty the Dragon Slayer trained all of His followers to be dragon slayers as well, so that no mutant dinosaurs would ever rise to power again. This time Nimrod the mutant dinosaur was gone forever, and all of the people in the kingdom lived happily ever after. The end of the beginning.
