Out of waste the theme park "De Spelerij / De Uitvinderij" is made by the artist Jos Spanbroek (1937 - August 2024) and his wife. More than once I visited it and I did again on a rainy Monday. A good thing was that it stopped raining as we intended to go.
By now the youngest is an adult and not much has changed except for the fact it is fall and the park is only open during the weekend and on Mondays.
It turned out there was no need to pay (no little children) so we had a look after a talk with some employers. Jos passed away and was still working on a project and it's not clear yet how the park will continue.

How about Paul I informed. Paul is the one with the happy sculptures I showed before.

Yes, I went to visit Paul Wegman again to inform about his art. He isn't willing to sell it and creates a new one if he has no car repairs. He told me he never intend to join an exposition, he doesn't care about fame or money. Kind of perplex he was as I told him his creations made me feel happy.

In "De Spelerij" (the playground) manpower is used instead of electricity. If you like to make something to work you should run, bicycle, push and so on. Is this park nearly 60 years old still interesting for children who rarely set a foot outside and are raised by screens?
It is and the same counts for adults.

Today it's also used for a day out with work.
Outside is a pool, it's possible to bake bread and popcorn. It's a great place for schoolexcursions and birthday parties.

Schrootstrijd (Scrap battle) is meant for adults (a corporate event, bachelor party, friends, etc)

I swear I saw some of these on a horror themed video game before. It was where a girl got lost on an old, abandoned kiddie theme park at night!

I am curious about that game! Any idea how old it is? The story sounds like IT. Pity I can't ask the artist any longer
There's nothing creepy here, just fun and inside is even better.

It was maybe Silent Hill 3 on the PS2 or one of these in this list:

Thanks. I let someone dig into it. I couldn't find a info about it as I searched the internet only German reviews on the park.

Thank you. Pity you do not leave a comment. I remember I asked you about it once before @damithudaya. I guess you did not read what @steemitblog asked from SC either. Such a pity you don't take time to connect.

🍀♥️

@saintkelvin17 and I did #comment & #upvote. No one cares any longer? ☹️

Well, I do not use Steemcurator account to comment on the posts. For that I have my personal account. With the time I have, along with the poor internet connection in my current area, I manage to connect, post and other things as much as possible.

Anyway, the above work is really extraordinary. Turning waste in to something useful move, yet along a theme park, is something creative. I remember once we used metals, and vehicle parts to create a robot( not a working one, just to showcase,) in my university!

Actually, it was what the Steemit Team asked the SC of October to do! To comment and engage and not only uovote and leave the team picture behind. So that's why I wonder why except for one SC no one else does.

It indeed is great how waste can be reused. I noticed that in this themepark a lot of expansion vessels for central heating/water are used. I wonder how many of them are thrown away per year. 🤔

Do you have a picture of that robot?

Sure we did 🫡
