Good day my fellow steemians and members of this prestigious community. @worldofxpilar is my favorite community. How are you doing in your respective countries? Happy new year to you all. I'm here again to share with you the recent realistic graphite pencil drawing of a tiger that I did for my personal collection.
But before I continue I will like to let you know a few facts about tigers that makes them unique.

Facts About Tigers

• The tiger is a very fast animal. It can run up to 65 kilometers per hour and roam up to 30 kilometers per night.
• The white spots of fur on the back of each tiger's ear are fake eyes that scare other animals.
• Initially tiger cubs are born blind and rely on their mother's scent to find food.
• An adult tiger can weigh up to 300 kg. They are the largest cat in the world in the cat family.
• The tiger have striped fur and skin, which helps them camouflage while hunting.
• Tiger's roar is very loud and can be heard from up to two miles away.
• Even when they're heavy and large, tigers are very good in swimming. They have webbed paws.

I have other drawings of wildlife and other domestic animals that are waiting. I will share them here one after the other till next month. Just stay tuned. Enjoy the progress shots and never fail to leave a comment telling me how it looks. Thanks for going through. See you in the next collection.

Here are the steps on how I did the portrait. I made my sketch then started shading it gradually. Starting from the head, hair down to her face and to the whole work which includes the legs, body and tail.
I made sure I did a very good detailing for a clean finishing.
