Having enjoyed @damithudaya Fantasy Cricket contest, I've been inspired to try a game that I've been thinking about for a long time.

Based around the classic Fantasy Football game Fantasy Premier League, where players score points for actions within a match, there's an opportunity to create a more structured game, fitting a specific formation.

Fantasy 4-2-3-1

For each set of fixtures (specified later), you must pick 11 players which fit the 4-2-3-1 formation.

• 1 x Goalkeeper
• 1 x Left Back
• 2 x Centre Back
• 1 x Right Back
• 2 x Central Midfielders
• 1 x Left Winger
• 1 x No. 10
• 1 x Right Winger
• 1 x Centre Forward

The scoring system is as follows:

Fixtures

So as not to overcomplicate the game, only a subset of each weekend's matches will be used - specifically, Saturday's 3pm (UK time) Kick Offs.

This means that the matches for this weekend are:

Brighton (BRI) v. Fulham (FUL)

Crystal Palace (CRY) v. Ipswich (IPS)

Liverpool (LIV) v. Southampton (SOU)

Rules

A maximum of 5 players per team.

Teams can be submitted / updated up until kick off (steemworld will be used to confirm this), including after the teams have been announced.

Please only submit one team, even if you have multiple accounts.

Once I've completed this post, I'll submit my provisional team in the comments below (once I've decided who to pick).

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded retrospectively via beneficiaries for each individual week. I'll maintain a league table in the comments, but I want people to feel that they don't need to play every week.

Since I'll be playing too, prizes will be as follows:

1st Place - 50% beneficiary
2nd Place - 30% beneficiary
3rd Place - 10% beneficiary.

This may increase if there's good interest and engagement with the game.
