El viernes 14 de febrero se celebrará en Venezuela el Día del amor y de la amistad. Pero saben ustedes ¿cuál es el motivo por el que se celebra en esta fecha estos sublimes sentimientos?

Bueno, la razón es que en el siglo III d. C., en tiempos en los que estaba prohibido el cristianismo, había un sacerdote llamado Valentín de Roma, que oficializaba matrimonios entre los soldados romanos y sus prometidas, en las mazmorras italianas.

Cuando el emperador Claudio II se enteró de la osadía de Valentín mandó a arrestarlo y a decapitarlo. Este hecho ocurrió el 14 de febrero del año 269 d. C.

Por eso se celebra en esta fecha, de acuerdo con la iglesia católica, el día del amor y de la amistad.

En "Arte y Escritura" hemos decidido hacer una edición especial para rendirle tributo a estos nobles sntimientos, como son el amor y la amistad.

Para ello, hemos seleccionado las siguientes obras para que usted escoja la que más le guste para escribir en torno a ella. La primera se titula Pareja en el Père Lathuille, de Manet (1879), la segunda, Coqueteo, de Eugene von Blaas (1905) y la tercera El encuentro en las escaleras de la torreta, de Frederic William Burton (1920).

¿Qué te proponemos que hagas?

1.- Coloca un título que guarde relación con tu escrito. Por ejemplo: "El último café"...

2.- Realizar texto narrativo, un poema, un ensayo o una reflexión, a partir de esta obra. La extensión mínima 200 palabras. Trata de ser creativo.

3.- Invita a un amigo. Por ejemplo, @senehasa, @by-aranza, @wakeupkitty y @rosselena.

4.- Vota y da reesteem para que otras personas puedan ver esta publicación.
