Hello friends of the WOX community.
In this short explanation, you can see that there are, among many others, two ways to make collages.
. A simpler or minimalist one
. A more complex one
In the minimalist collage, one or two photographs are used, plain backgrounds, and geometric shapes in bright colours can be introduced. In this case I used pink cardboard.

En esta breve explicación, podéis ver que hay, entre otras muchas, dos maneras de hacer collages.
. Una más sencilla o minimalista

En el collage minimalista se emplean una o dos fotografías, fondos lisos, y se pueden introducir formas geométricas de vivos colores. En este caso utilicé una cartulina de color rosa.
In the "complex" collage, more "psychedelic" backgrounds are used. We can combine several images to make the background. The images that make up the collage are many and varied, the proportions are lost, bodies and heads are mixed...
.Note, in the minimalist collage you can also combine images interacting with each other or mixing bodies with different heads, but the number of images used is minimum.
In these two examples of collages that I have made, the theme is the same: "fashion magazines", but the result is very different.

En el collage "complejo" se emplean fondos mas "psicodélicos" , podemos combinar varias imagenes para hacer el fondo. Las imágenes que forman el collage son muchas y variadas, las proporciones se pierden, se mezclan cuerpos con cabezas...
.Ojo, en el collage minimalista también se pueden combinar imágenes interaccionando entre sí o mezclando cuerpos con cabezas diferentes, pero el número de imágenes utilizadas es mínimo.
En estos dos ejemplos de collages que he realizado, el tema es el mismo: "las revistas de moda", pero el resultado es muy diferente.

That is very interesting to know the different kind of collage. I was actually wondering if it is possible to use objects like buttons or maybe broken glass so that it looks shiny and precious. What do you think?
Yes @stef1, all kinds of materials can be used.
I do not know if you knew a user who was before split on Steemit and he is wonderful artist and had many different type of collage, I liked ones made of colourful glasses, just if you have an interest here is the link to his blog, unfortunately he stopped blogging 2 years ago:
