Greetings Steemians,
I've been following and watching Lex Fridman for a long time. He is a very successful person. I follow his thoughts and studies on both podcasts and artificial intelligence with interest.
He has videos that I have watched and watched again, where he is doing a Podcast with Chess master Hikaru Nakamura.
In this Podcast, he talks about his matches with world chess champion Magnus Carlsen as an introduction and talks about his time with Magnus and his chess techniques.
Then they talk to Fridman about chess techniques, openings etc.
He then tells what he did as a mental preparation. He has a point of view that he is a Competitor but also never cares when he loses because this is not the end of the world.
At first, he says that he is an aggressive person, then he questions himself and takes a different form. But he openly says that he is somewhat egoistic because he accepts to be egoistic to reach the top, which inspires him.
Since the other parts are a bit long, I'll go short, these are the parts with Sergey Karjakin, Magnus Carlsen, Beauty of chess, World Chess Championship and I think you should listen to these. :)
Hikaru Nakamura is also a Twitch streamer, says he has made a career there. By playing games, he communicates with people and spends time with them. He also inspires his fans and helps their perspectives. This makes him happy.
Then they talk about depression and risks, it's such a great podcast. Think about it, you are talking about such issues here ahh.
Advice for young people from Hikaru Nakamura: x. Finally, they talk about love, what an elegant conversation. I'm saving this part, I think you should watch it. To watch the podcast:
i. Listen to your heart.
ii. Follow your passions.
iii. Tough decisions can be made and definitely try. Don't stop trying, try again if you fail.
