Sunrise Today 🌅
Good morning from Zanzibar 🌊 The woman with the grey wavy hair who genuinely smiles back at me watched the sunrise with her husband. She doesn’t think I owe her anything and I feel the very same.
She wore the traditional African robe left in the guest room for most tourists to ignore. Playful but suspiciously quiet mosquitoes were still having fun all around us.
It was quiet for less than a minute before someone again felt obliged to say jambo to us, the tourists, and took the magic away. Jambo means hello in Swahili.
Is there a maximum number of times you find appropriate saying hello to the very same person in one single day, from dawn to dusk literally? I pretend to not be good with numbers so I promise I will loose count pretty soon…
a very beautiful sunset!
Thank you, certainly to remember 🌅
