The Sudio Tre wireless earphones is a stylish choice fit for exercise, frequent travelling and everyday wear. While audio doesn't have the most lively or clearest acoustics, for the active lifestyle it offers a very good audio experience with respectable battery life and comfort.

Scandinavian influence is evident as soon as you look at the packaging - the Swedish brand prides on clean aesthetics. With the Sudio Tre in white, the packaging takes a magnetic enclosed book approach, with nothing but the earphones graphic on the front and a plain white through and through.
Opening the package reveals the Sudio Tre behind a shielding plastic, and a white card box that houses the additional accessories: a gold clip, two pairs of different wingtips sizes, Sudio faux leather case, authentication card and manual. Presented nicely, secured well with accessories especially the carry case to keep your Sudio Tre secure when not in use.

Compared to other wireless earphones, the Sudio Tre abandons the in-ear plug that pushes into your canal and opts for a flat, yet directed sound space. That immediately makes them more comfortable to wear and presents a clean, simple design true to Swedish minimalism.
The wingtips are far better than other designs, as they contour inside my ear to fit nicely. Not once when I'm running, hiking or turning my head did the earpiece slip out. I felt confident wearing these even in the most rugged of exercises which is a compliment on the design. If the wingtips don't fit well, the other two offer different sizes for smaller or larger ears.
The battery on the Sudio Tre is good. You can reach up to the 9 hours stated if listening to music on a volume, possibly 5 hours on a voice call. An aspect I dig about the Sudio Tre is the standby mode - it lasts for days if powered on and not in use. I usually worry about charging it the next day but I don't have to with the Sudio Tre, hanging around my neck until I want to connect to a device for playback.
Continuous music playback around 50% volume gets me around 5 hours which is passable for most of the day. I can stretch that on a lower volume, which is generally fine so no qualms about battery life. Pushing it beyond 50% and you can expect that time to significantly go down, reaching for the charging cable regularly (possibly the 103 hour range). I definitely find myself reaching for me more often than other wireless earphones but maybe I'm just a heavy audio consumer shrugs.
The sound funnels down the protruding earpiece, directing into the ear without a need for silicone buds. The intuitive design sacrifices the impact of carrying sound deeper for a richer, vibrant audio experience. Acoustics carry well inside the ear canal, with a fair amount of treble, bass and vocal clarity.
As an avid lover of music, you can expect some audio impact on wireless earphones vs wired earphones. The loss of quality through wireless vs wired is well-documented and understood among audio purists. So coming into the Sudio Tre earphones with that in mind, they sound good. Just good. There's just not enough that is exciting, impactful when it needs to be, or the level of immersion I've had with other wireless earphones, let alone wired.
These aren't designed to be those definitive earphones. They are those that project a pleasant enough sound at a reasonable price and ones that look good visually while doing it. They're a convenient pair that for the average person would be delighted with these, especially for voice calls.
Overall, the Sudio Tre's shallow bass and short-reaching immersive experience mean they are perfectly capable as wireless, fitness, hands-free earphones, but not for audiophiles or those seeking vibrant music in wireless form. A trade-off of design and audio quality, which is a shame as I like the airy, convenient design that doesn't want to dig into my ears.
The more frustrating part is when I receive a call from another app while on a data voice call. Let's say I'm using Kakaotalk and my best friend calls me on Facebook messenger. Suddenly my connecting with Sudio Tre is booted out, unable to select it as an output from my device. Turning Bluetooth off and on doesn't sort it out.
Nor does unpairing it. I have to restart my smartphone before Bluetooth works like it should. Now, this hasn't happened to any other wireless earphones or devices across my laptop and Bluetooth. An isolated incident, but a frustrating one when it happens. It doesn't seem to affect normal phone calls however.
On a plus note, when it is connected, the distance is as stated, reaching 10m. That goes further if it's open space or a material the signal can pass through easily. In the instance I'm out of range and drops connection, it automatically reconnects itself when back in range.
There's a lot to like with the Sudio Tre as a wireless earphone - the lightweight, slim design, solid connection that is true to the distance, all-day battery life and fantastic hands-free microphone quality. It excels for an active lifestyle as I took to the hills, roads and mountains listening to music and making calls with comfort and ease.
Considering the sweatproof nature of the Sudio Tre, I found audio to be very good and enjoyable. Not the most exciting or immersive by any means, but it pumps out a pleasing audio experience when you factor the small footprint and intuitive ear design that is not intrusive or weighty. I'm happy wearing this as an everyday driver because I never notice it after many hours of use but with all the wireless freedom to do what I need to. So if you're looking for a balanced overall experience that does what it says it does well, then the Sudio Tre is a strong option that will serve you well.
