"Recipe Of The Day, Week No. 43: Fried Rice, One Of The Best Food
This is one of our family's favorite foods at home, and maybe also Indonesian people. This food is a favorite food of the Indonesian people which is included in one of the most delicious foods in the world. Wow..
The method of making it is very easy and the ingredients are also very simple. There are many ways used to cook this "Nasi Goreng". Some use spices, some use sauteed garlic and shallots, and some only chop the onions.
This fried rice also has 2 variants, classic and modern. The classic one usually only uses chopped ingredients with the addition of kale or anchovies and the modern one usually uses fine spices.
Well, now I will share a fried rice recipe that uses various spices and chopped ingredients to cook it.
Ingredients used;
- White rice
- shallots
- garlic
- spring onions
- small chilies
- tomatoes
- red spices (shallots, garlic, pepper, curly red chilies, candlenuts, coriander)
- eggs
- soy sauce
- margarine
- flavoring
How to make it; |
---|
- heat margarine then saute chopped ingredients until fragrant, then add red ground spices, saute until fragrant.
- after the onions are brown, set them aside and crack the eggs and scramble them until cooked.
- after that, add the white rice, stir until evenly mixed. Add salt, soy sauce, and seasonings then stir again until all ingredients are combined. After that, correct the taste.
- the last step is to add spring onions to add aroma to the fried rice and the fried rice is ready to be served. To get delicious fried rice, cook over high heat and stir the rice a little faster.
Now, the fried rice is ready. Actually, I prefer slightly burnt fried rice, it has a different and tastier taste.
History of Fried Rice
It turns out that fried rice is not an original Indonesian food, it is a food that originated from China. At first, Chinese people did not like to eat cold rice, so they cooked it again using various ingredients and also additional spices.
Chinese people began to trade to various parts of the world and there they introduced this fried rice and adjusted it to the tastes and spices in the areas where they settled. And this has been around for 4000 years BC.
Reecook and I hope you all like it.👍
