Week# 2 Curation Report (April Session)| Finance & Technology | Quality Control Team| @steemcurator05

Hello steemians,

The Quality Control team's curation mission continues for its second week, which ran from April 7 to April 14, 2022, as all members performed their roles with all professionalism and diligence, which made it possible to honor many articles by upvoting in varying proportions on their content according to several considerations, the most important of which are the value of the publication and its aesthetics, as well as the club to which the participant belongs.

This week, we saw an increase in the number of articles upvoted under our #fintech tag, reaching 138 posts, despite the large number of articles (117 posts) being ignored for several reasons. It will be covered in detail in each curator's notes, so I urge all participants to read it so that they learn from their mistakes and be rewarded for their future posts. No Club : For curation, I prioritize accounts that are members of clubs, and I will change the curation scheme in the next period by giving a higher percentage of votes according to the clubs that are joined. This will trigger them to continuously improve their club status from time to time.

Plagiarism : I am using https://plagiarismdetector.net/ to track plagiarism and so far during curation I have not found any plagiarism activity.

Skipped Articles :In general, content that meets the upvote requirements but is skipped due to not joining one of the existing clubs, for example, cash out is greater than power up. The rest of the content is skipped because it doesn't fit the finance and technology theme. Today I found a lot of Art NFT content using fintech hashtags and not meeting curation requirements.

Other posts were skipped for using bots, as stated in SC01 comment that the use of bots can invalidate club status.

We now have sufficient articles to curate under "Finance and Technology" and these articles' quality has improved as compared to what it used to be in the previous weeks. That said, some users were still found engaging in copy and paste acts, this act of plagiarism is not acceptable and notes have been left for those involved.

In addition, users are mixing club status with #steemexclusive, these are two different things. When you don't create a #steemexclusive article, you don't expect to get support because you are a club participant. On Steem, only #steemexclusive articles are being considered for support and I hope users would understand this. In essence, articles that you have not shared anywhere else are termed #steemexclusive.

The most important note for today is the below average level of most articles, which makes it difficult to choose the best content. There was also a significant number of articles that were ignored due to poor content quality or for not meeting all voting requirements, with one article containing plagiarism also being watched and moderators reporting. been informed.

There is also a balance between the number of writings in the two fields, most of which were in English with a relatively high number of articles in Spanish, a language that I really enjoy when I read. We also note that most posts belong to the #club5050, so voter turnout was not high this week. So I invite most subscribers to further increase the value of their SP wallet so that they can get more valuable rewards.

This week I've observed a lot of new users becoming active on our topics. And the quality of the posts is improving every day. For the sake of curation, I had to skip a few posts. Some of them are not following club events, while the rest of the posts are either irrelevant or the author has already been voted on multiple times. As is usual, only authors who have successfully followed club events are picked for a vote. In addition, I used the voting percentage based on the club's status.

This was a day of curation in which I could see many poor posts, compared to those that are really good and deserve to opt for a vote.
We can see this reflected in the 46 posts that were skipped just for being poor content, posts that lack any reason or are pointless, generally do not get to any point and are not fully explained.
Skip 2 good posts that I think might have deserved the upvote because they weren't exclusive to Steemit.

Another pair were voted for by another curator account, this surprised me because they were quite interesting technology publications.
Other 3 posts did not correctly comply with their used club tag, they were good posts but this sometimes deprives users of a vote.

There were also very good posts from users who deserved votes, 4 in total, however these users had already received 3 votes for the curator account at the time of taking my turn. This makes them ineligible for the time being.

The publications that I voted for, 21 in total were publications that had good bases, even this week my choice of the week is between 5 very good publications, something that makes me happy, something that tells you that the community and the publications related to the topic are improving , even though there is more poor content good users are getting better.

In my time as a curator, I was able to observe quality publications, however, it is necessary that more authors are encouraged to participate in this type of post, in order to have more alternatives when choosing a publication. I also found some low-quality posts, that is, they do not meet the expectations of a good publication.

I found 5 posts that users do not participate in any clubs. Communities should encourage users to participate in at least the 5050 club.

During this week, I experienced an increase in articles that pertains to the #Technology category and a lot of new users that engaged in this category.

There was also an improvement in the number of quality publications during this week. However, they ate still some authors who don't know how to produce quality articles because they find it difficult to apply markdowns on their publications. I hope communities urged and encourage their members to complete at least, achievement4 in the newcomer's community.

Again, I have still noticed that only a few users abuse our #tags as compared to last time. Only a few users also abuse their club status as compared to last time. It should be noted that the use of wrong tags and club status on your articles is a very bad practice. I hope the remaining few users that still practice this should be aware of the consequence.

Why?
The author of this article spoke at length on a few ways to position oneself for passive income in the crypto ecosystem.
