week1-May.jpg

Hi Steemians,

For the third consecutive session the Quality Control team was responsible for curating the articles, including the fields of technology and finance. This session started in its first week from 28 April to end on May 5, 2022.

This week has seen a stability in the number of upvoted articles compared to previous weeks, so it's still a respectable percentage that indicates a growing desire to write in these two important areas right now, but on the other hand, the large number of the skipped articles is still very annoying, especially since in our reports we always mention the reasons why we bypass them, but it seems that many users do not pay attention to our comments, so as usual I invites everyone to read what we write so that all conditions are understandable to everyone.

And as usual, we'll go over more details and provide the most important stats and suggestions for this week, ending the article with the top seven articles, so we wish you happy reading.

The observations of our curators :

@irawandedy 1st-day

No Club : For curation, I prioritize accounts that are members of clubs, and a curation scheme by giving a higher percentage of votes if the club status is in club100 or club75, but the quality of content remains an important point. I hope the curation method that I apply will trigger them to continuously improve their club status from time to time

Plagiarism : I am using https://plagiarismdetector.net/ and https://www.duplichecker.com/ to track plagiarism and so far during curation I have not found any plagiarism activity

Skipped Articles : In general content that meets upvote requirements but is skipped because:
1 Do not join any of the clubs.
2 Content does not match the theme of finance and technology.
4 Has been curated 3 times for 7 days of curation.
5 Using the Upvote bot

@fredquantum2nd-day

The quality of articles on this day is fair, the metrics of users utilizing Finance and Technology tags are still on the rise which prompted me to ignore a lot of articles. That said, other articles were ignored for low quality and some do not comply with any of the available club statuses.

It's the season of the Steemit Engagement Challenge and many users are busy writing great articles in the contest while some are related to our theme, as such, these articles were not voted on because most of them have the probability of receiving upvotes from SC01/SC02, in addition, these ones are not included in the metrics of the skipped articles for the day.

In conclusion, it's a fair day of searching for quality articles. We hope it gets improved subsequently.
@kouba01 3rd-day

This week, 18 articles were upvoted in varying proportions according to several measures, the most important of which is which club the user belongs to, and the value and quality of the content offered. Most articles were in English at 72%, followed by Spanish and Indonesian. We also recommended a balance between the two areas (55% for finance and 45% for technology), which is desirable for the diversification of content. On the other hand, there is a gap in the percentage of users belonging to Club 5050 61% Club 75 22% and Club 100 16%, so we invite most users to join Club 75 and 100 to get a value of higher upvote.

Also, 17 articles were juxtaposed for several reasons, the most important of which is the low level of writing or the absence of membership in a club. We also noticed several articles which are part of a challenge contest, which are voted by SC02, so it is not possible to benefit from two votes at the same time.

@shemul21 4th-day

The amount of authors creating quality posts with our tag has decreased this week. Today I received an extremely low amount of posts, possibly the lowest ever. I always check the quality and plagiarism of an article before upvoting it. Some entries are skipped due to poor quality or unrelated themes, and some authors do not participate in the club event. However, I am optimistic that people will continue to produce high-quality information on our topics.

@nane15 5th-day

The entries that are related to science and technology were quite few on this day, people are concentrating more and more on the Steemit Engagement Challenge more than anything else, although there are still a few users attached to the topic, who usually like to make these posts on their blogs, with enough quality in each publication.

Even so, and with good users posting, it is not possible to give all the votes to them or give votes to very poor posts, therefore the number of votes given has dropped a bit if we compare it to past weeks.

Clearly, the number of skipped, reviewed posts has also gone down.
There were 2 skipped posts for not complying with the club tag used in their post and 24 skipped for poor content, a total of 26 skipped posts.

@pelon53 6th-day

On my curation day, it was difficult to get quality posts. The users who normally participate in Finance and Business, this time there were few posts.

On that day I found three posts with plagiarism, each post was left with a note and evidence of plagiarism. Likewise, users who do not comply with any club were encouraged to participate in club5050, club75 or club100.

@chiabertrand 7th-day

During my curation this week, I still realize a little improvement in terms of content quality as compared to my last week's statistics. However, I had to skip a lot of articles during my curation with good reasons behind it which I will be explaining out

Most of my skipped articles were content not related to my area of interest which is #Fintech, other articles were the ones that users are miss using(abusing club status) or don't belong to any club, other articles were good but extremely very short and lacked an in-depth analysis, other skipped articles were articles which the authors had already benefited from SC05 account 3X within 7-days, the other skipped articles where articles that the users where not verified in the community which they posted their content on

It should be noted that we curate only verified users across the entire communities in steemit

I also skipped other articles because the users are still very new to the platform(a reputation of 35 and below). We don't know this user's real intentions if they created these accounts just to seek up-votes or if they created them to become a real blogger. It should be noted that new users will need to work hard to be visible and get known before they can receive support from big curators

This time around, there was a drastic decrease in the number of articles belonging to Technology whereas there was an increase in the number of articles belonging to #Finance

Why?
I have chosen this article based on the marketing strategy the business has employed, the business takes a step further from relying on organic marketing as such they have worked on sponsoring ads to ensure their product reach more audience. It's a healthy step for the business to ensure that they don't remain on a spot for too long. Good innovation by the business owner/team.

Why?
The writer presented a good article in which she showed how to change a regular flash of a cell phone into an ultraviolet lamp. The beginning was by providing the necessary materials for the task and then explaining the process step by step, in the end, she provided an enjoyable experience by writing a text and seeing it in the dark. The result was great and our team encourages these individual experiences and wants to spread them around.

Chosen by: @Shemul21

Why?
I have selected this post as the featured post for this week. The author shared his own innovative start up business idea that is a restaurant business in his local area. It is a well-known business for people from all over the world. But the author presented it in a creative way. He developed this idea for solving a major problem. And I believe that the best innovations stem from our own needs.

The article : Link
The author:@abialfatih
Club status: #club100
Chosen by:@nane15

Why?
A problem and a solution, the user @abialfatih explains the practice of pawning motorcycles in his area, a process that intervenes in the lives of people in that area on a regular basis and that has evolved over time.

He manages to leave us without many doubts, he explains to us about various situations that may arise and how they would be solved.

Few users dedicate themselves to giving such complete analysis, although we could say that a photo is missing, the reality is that the explanation is excellent and does not require too much visual information.

The article : Link
The author:@lhorgic
Club status: #club5050
Chosen by:@pelon53

Why?
The author explains the criteria for choosing a good decentralised exchange.

Among these criteria, he talks about security, as this is where the hard-earned money will be stored. He also discusses other criteria, such as transaction fees, payment methods and assets to be traded.

Their explanation was simple and comprehensive.

The author:@pocoloco01
Club status: #club5050
Chosen by:@chiabertrand

Why?
During my Curation this week, I came across this user's article which I had no choice but to nominate it as my top best article because of the method he used to explain the Rarible Marketplace, a decentralized NFT marketplace built on the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to create, buy, and sell NFTs without the involvement of an intermediary. He went on to explain how to connect a wallet to the Rarible marketplace, how to create NFTs, and how to buy NFTs with step by steps screenshots. He's also talked about the benefits and drawbacks of the marketplace. His explanations of the Rarible marketplace are impressive; newbies and NFTs enthusiasts can easily comprehend how to create and sell NFTs utilizing his tutorial.
