BitCoin HARD-FORK TOMORROW || 79 BLOCKS TO GO || (probably)
It's SUPER BitCoin! Haven't you heard!?
Actually, no. You probably haven't.
Tomorrow's Super BitCoin hard fork has gotten (surprisingly?) little press.
Nevertheless, SBTC is set to fork away from the main chain in 79 78 blocks, at block-height 498888. That's probably sometime 6:00 - 12:00 UCT | 1:00 - 7:00 EST
To be clear, it's still possible the fork won't happen at all; there are half a dozen more BTC hard-forks which have been scheduled for the near future, and chances are some of them won't. That being said, it seems likely2 that SBTC will end up forking tomorrow morning.
Assuming it does happen, the event won't have the sort of impact on BTC prices that the forks of BTG or BCH did, but I think we can reasonably expect some shakiness in the market. Speculation surrounding that fact, and the hedging that resulted from it, is probably one of the factors which lead to the huge run that we saw today from LTC.
That being said, if you're holding BTC when the fork occurs, you'll be credited automatically with SBTC in a 1:1 ratio just as with the other recent forks.3 If you feel like getting into BTC for this reason, or getting out of BTC in apprehension of a price drop, and if that's going to require you to move coins on the chain itself, I would suggest doing so sooner rather than later. Transaction processing may slow down as we approach the event, and exchanges will begin to temporarily close wallets for safety.
If the fork ends up going live, expect a further post on how it went and what we might be able to expect from SBTC in the future.
Finally, if you'd like information in greater depth, a link to the SBTC official site is at the bottom of this post.
Happy Trading, CryptoFaces!

1: Yes, their slogan is a reference to Donald Trump. Yes, I think they're joking. No, I don't know for sure.
2: To me
3: Iff the fork is supported by your wallet/exchange platform
Which exchanges will actually credit this SBTC to BTC holders? Its kinda important to know.
Actually, I take that back, I totally missed, it! Full list at the bottom of the superbitcoin.org site.
I'll post a full list as well.
Great thanks!
I know for a fact that HitBTC will. Bittrex has been strangely silent on the matter. It's been hard to find information on that, oddly; I wish I could've included more.
