Greetings, friends! It's a pleasure to be with you and in the community after a long time without being able to publish. I was checking the platform and the community, whenever I can it motivates me to continue publishing, so I had a painting pending to do that is very important to me, and I wanted to share it with you. I wanted to recreate my pet Bianca in paint for a while now. She is no longer with me; she died a while ago and it was devastating, but I always have her in mind, and with this painting, many more. So I had in mind to do a painting of her as a souvenir. I recently bought several canvases since I work with paint, and one of those canvases was to do Bianca. I thought about sharing this special painting for me and my family with you, so I started checking the platform about 3 days ago, and on that first day of checking, I started working on the painting. Today I have it ready and I will show you how it turned out and with its steps. I hope you like it a lot.

MATERIALS

35x28 cm canvas
Acrylic paints. White, black, beige, nude, brown, red, green, orange, and burgundy.
Small to large brushes.
Charcoal pencil

STEPS

1er

To start, I always use a pencil sketch of Bianca, using the photo I took as a reference to recreate it. Once the sketch is ready, I grab the brushes and start with the paints. Here, I paint the background first (it's important to start with the background). I used burgundy, red, orange, brown, and white paint. I did this for each tile in the hallway where she was lying, as they are various intertwined tones, and white to give light. I left the ground part light brown for the time being.

Here I continued with the floor details by painting a green line along the floor, where the boundary between the floor and the ground is visible. I used brown for the ground and green for the grass, and some black and white for some small stones in the corner. For the ground, I painted small highlights of white, and the grass was painted with green and yellow for the beginning. Everything was done with great care and dedication, paying attention to every detail.

In this step, I'll show you the entire finished background with every detail. For the ceramic, I used a bit of black for darkness, and for the grass, a bit of darkness in the corner and lightness toward the outside with two shades of green, yellow, and a bit of white. Now, I started with Bianca, using beige, white, and skin-colored paint to flesh out the sketch and distinguish each part so I could paint with the appropriate tones for each area.

This last step took me almost the entire day to paint Bianca in great detail. I used a lot of white, skin, and brown paint for all her fur, and finally, black for her eyes, mouth, and snout, some black dots where her whiskers are, and a little on her nose, since her nose was a little reddish with brown, so I painted it like that. As always, I used white paint for the final touch of light in each area, like her eyes, nose, and whiskers. Finally, I painted her heart necklace in green, which finished it.

Here I leave you a large one as the final result and so that it can be seen better, I will also leave the photo that I decided to take as a reference, I chose this one because she liked to go out for a while in front of the house and sit for a while to get some sun and fresh air and there she was playing a little.
