2 - Are smoothies healthier than juice?
Juice from the pack is often a real sugar bomb and is also made from concentrates. When it comes to health, smoothies beat ready-made juices by far, because only fresh ingredients end up in the jar.
Unlike fruit juices, which consist only of the pressed juice of fruits, smoothies are made from whole fruits. The whole fruit is pureed except for inedible peels and seeds. So the drinks contain the full potential of nutrients, plants and fibres. The content of secondary plant substances and phyto-substances is particularly high, which we hardly consume otherwise.
There is a nice side effect: The many vital substances ensure a radiant skin, great hair and firm nails. Besides fresh smoothies have a fantastic detoxifying effect on the whole body.
