My tattoos, my art.
As an artist I like to create, show, breathe, consume and exhibit art, whether through my writings, plays, music or drawings.
Since childhood, tattoos have always caught my attention, and it was not until I graduated from high school that I was able to complete the first of several that I currently have.
Currently I have 4 tattoos on my body, 3 on my right leg, which may well be interpreted as 2, since 2 of them were unified with time and seem one; the other one I have located in the ribs on the left side.
The first one is simple but beautiful, a soccer ball and a blue rose.
The soccer ball is the iconic symbol of the sport that I love most and enjoy practicing, you can appreciate that the ball is embedded in my skin, since it is part of my being; and finally the blue rose represents the eternal love for that sport and the immortality that exists in it.
Two years later I put some ink back on my body, this time I wanted to make a lion with my face still, without gestures, without roaring or yawning, I just wanted a lion, calm and reflecting peace in his eyes.
For me, the lion represents corage, strength, loyalty and leadership, which is very good with my personality.
I did not want it aggressive, because I'm not. There is a phrase that describes it very well and goes hand in hand with what I wanted to express in my tattoo.
—Reís Bélico
A week after having made me a lion, I went back and got a French phrase, a phrase that was there in my mind in the best and worst days of my life, I never lowered my arms and I always went ahead because if something I'm sure, is that... Life is beautiful.
Maybe about three months ago I did the last tattoo, which I had a lot of time wanting to do, it was something I had planned and I had not told anyone.
It is a fragment of one of the most epic scenes of the films of Harry Potter.
The conversation between Snape and Dumbledore.
It has a sentimental background, in the scene Albus Dumbledore addresses Severus Snape and asks him "After all this time?" Referring to himself After all this time, your feelings for her (Lily, mother deceased Harry Potter) are still alive, you have not stopped loving her? To which he, full of security, answers "Always" Which means that he will always love her, he will never stop loving her, nor with the passage of time.
It has a very sentimental value for me, because as I explained before, it does not matter that the years pass or the ups and downs, I always go to love my family, the latter is dedicated to them.
My mother is called "Mairuby", which sounds like "My ruby", so the ruby at the end represents the woman I would give my life for, my mother.
I have several ideas for future tattoos that I will do next year.
The idea is not to overload my body with them, but to show good pieces of art that represent me and have great significant value.
