Meditate Regularly With a Group.
When traveling it is very nice to meet other people who follow the same path. Apart from the simple, yet valuable, human relationship that this implies, by talking to them we can learn more about the journey, compare paths we have followed and places we have been, and encourage and help each other with our experiences. Many people find it rewarding to meditate regularly with a group.
In a group a harmony is formed that favors concentration. It is very positive to be able to talk about one's own experience of meditation, and to learn from the experience of others. On the other hand, many people find it easier to devote some of their time to private practice when they have the psychological support of belonging to a meditation group. Although meditation is essentially a solitary practice, even when it is done in a group, we are social beings, and it is comforting to feel that we are not alone on the journey with an unknown direction, that there are others with us.
Such a group must be chosen carefully. If there is a person who has problems with his ego and tries to direct and indicate to others what they should do, it will cause discomfort in a group. One remedy to avoid this is to establish turns for everyone to lead the group. There must be someone who nominally leads the group, otherwise it will tend to become one more social gathering.
Many groups prefer to work with a meditation book, reading or commenting, before or after the practice, different sections each day, to understand them well. Other groups like to spend part of the time studying a more philosophical or theoretical book and part of the time meditating together in silence. Some groups prefer to just meditate in silence and go away in silence. There are all kinds of possibilities, and your only limits are the wishes of the group and your material availability.
It must also be said beforehand that criteria will be followed with the new members of the group. If only to meditate. All new members will find it easy to adapt, which can be easier if, apart from meditating, they study a specific topic. In this respect there are two important factors that must be taken into account.
First, consider the difficulties a newcomer may have in catching up on the work the group has done, so that it does not constantly require the group to review things it no longer considers necessary. Second, a new member changes the energy of the group. This can be positive, such as when, for example, it imbues new impetus into a group that has fallen asleep on its laurels, or it can be problematic.
When working with a group, talking about meditation and meditating together, it is doubly tempting to fall into the trap of having wonderful experiences, which must be avoided.

Solo meditation is good too.
Since meditation is not a race nor a synchronize swimming.
It is looking deeper within.

Friend, the idea is refreshing, the man never wants to be completely alone ... but, it would be great to find a group so sober as to meditate together without being distracted
