dEALING WITH IMPOSSIBILITY.
-How to Live Your Dream Life-
(Impossibility is a myth)
The most common problem with making our dreams a reality is the word impossible. A lot of times we turn to believe that our dreams can never be achieved. Most people get hung up thinking I can’t do this or i can never become what i envision in my mind. Some folks will also say it's too hard and I don't ever think I can make it possible. Others will simply tell you 'It’s impossible'. No one can do this. I am not good enough. I am not qualified. I don’t have the money or resources and i dont even have anyone to help me.
However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment then I think by now the fellows thoughts would have changed by now.
Remember that no one ever thought a black man could become President of USA one day but Barack Obama rose to break that record. I don't think the Wright Brothers were ever understood when they hard the idea of coming out with an airplane but they defied all odds ro make it happen.
On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. That is why ee have few people breaking barriers and and making things happen. Many dream but few will see their dreams come to pass because it do not only take wishing to ensure that dreams come to pass, it takes bravey, planning, beliveing in yourself and relying on God.
If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to get past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.
You owe it to yourself. If it’s your dream, why would you wait on more day to pursue it? The time is now or never. You owe no one any excuse. Just be strategic and let it work.
On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.
I remember a lot of people telling me years back when I had the edge to publish my maiden book that it wasn't going to be be possible. I heard so many discouraging words that if I wasn't more vigilant I could have stopped pursuing the dream.
But I never gave in, I knew my dream of becoming an author was going to be possible. Nothing could stop it and so it gradually tool shape. The word of life puts it this way; "With God all things are possible" - Luke 1:37.
Hear me friend, if you want everyone around you to believe you can achieve your dream before you start then I am sorry you will soon be frustrated. Your Dream isn't someone's, your seed of greatness is unique so just be encouraged and move on. Your Dream of marrying is Possible, your dream of becoming an author is Possible, your dream of becoming an international business man or woman is Possible, your dream of rising as a great man or woman of God is Possible.
Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that, that 1% has to be a big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.
Ask any gym instructor and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, No pain, no gain? That is as. So be wild and never be lazy, DREAM but also be hardworking and God centered. The dream will not just come overnight. You may suffer in the process but don't stop. You will.be criticised and misunderstood but don't give in. It will require hard work because it may be very hard. You will require diligence and perseverance. Sometimes you need to hide and be productive, learn new ways of doing things. Be smart and convince YOURSELF you can. Let nothing stop you, just be focused, be passionate about what you believe and keep pushing and doing well.
It's time for the world to hear of your IMPACT. Don't worry if people don't encourage or support you, it's part of the sacrifices. One day you will shine and nothing can stop you.
