The Tamale Girl Stopped By At Mom's Place

Today is the day I always mow my mom's lawn. As I was putting away the shovel that I use to take care of the animals that come by and do the number 2 on mom's lawn, I see a car kind of parked crooked in front of mom's house.

Then I see this girl by the front door. She comes to me and asks if I want any tamales. I have seen her before as my brother did buy tamales from her a couple of times that I know of.

I guess that is good business to ask for the sale of people that bought product from you before. Well, I don't buy tamales, but sometimes my mom or brother might.

So I tell the girl that I'll go and check. I tell mom that the tamale girl is here. Then mom tells me to ask my brother if he wants to buy some tamales.

Well, I go to my brother's room and tell him the tamale girl is here and wants to know if he wants any tamales. My brother tells me that he didn't want any right now.

So I go back to the tamale girl and tell her that my brother doesn't want any right now. Well, she tells me, ok and goes back to her car.

I guess she does it for extra money. I don't know if you can make a living at selling tamales door to door. I find it valuable to have something that you can sell and make a little money at.

It would be like me and my odd jobs.

I do remember when the electricity went out and I was at mom's house and that same tamale girl came around. I think my brother was pretty hungry at the moment so he did buy a package of hot tamales from her.

I can't remember if it was 8 tamales for $10 or so. Something like that anyway.

I have a friend and I know that his family works all day to make a lot of tamales. They do this for the Christmas holiday. I mean they make a lot of tamales cause they have a big family and even wanted me to eat more even after I ate a couple of their tamales already.

Maybe the tamale girl wanted to have extra money for the Christmas holiday. I know that some people use their credit card to buy presents for Christmas. Of course you don't want to spend too much money on Christmas or at least not more than you can afford.

I wonder if the tamale girl is the house wife of someone that has a good job, cause she had a very nice looking car. I am thinking that the tamales are a side business type of thing.

I have been listening to Psalms and Proverbs on a playlist for a bit now. That tamale girl kind of reminds me of a scripture in Proverbs.

As it is written, She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Proverbs 31:24. So we see that the virtuous woman is one that comes up with ways to help out with income that she can do mostly at home.

Well the whole chapter of Proverbs 31 is like a gold mine to me. Well, to me if anyone is going to get married they should study chapter 31 of Proverbs.

Well anyway, I hope that the tamale girl made some sales today.
