A Story Of Going To The Wrong Place For A Pizza Birthday Party

It was a last minute verbal invitation to a birthday party told to my mom. The invitation was a day before the party. Mom asked, "On Alpine?" My cousin said, "Yes." Mom wanted to go. I asked her where it was. Mom told me Michael's near Alpine.

So with that information we went to Michael's New York Pizza. It is close to where mom lives. When we got there, it didn't seem like a birthday party was going on. I checked out the private room where a birthday party would take place, it was empty and dark.

Something seems wrong. I asked one of the girls working there if there was a birthday party planned for today at this time. The girl told me there were no parties scheduled for today.

I thanked her and made a call to my cousin. Thing is, my cousin's phone doesn't work. Well that is great. I did leave a message, but if his phone is broken then he won't get it. So now we have no contact number.

This has happened to us before where there was some misunderstanding. Mom and I went to a park picnic, but the park was so big and we only knew one person at the party. The one that invited us. The thing is that the person that invited us did not have a cell phone.

We walked to every gathering and didn't see her. We did bring food for the party. I think we ate that food there at the park. It was our own little party.

So let's get back to the pizza birthday party. So we are at a place where we see no party. The one that invited us has a non-working cell phone. I was just going to take mom home. Then I thought..

Well, I used to be an information operator. Let's look at this again. We were told to go to Michael's New York Style Pizza that was on Alpine and that it was close to moms house.

So I was thinking the next closest place with a somewhat similar name was Mountain Mike's Pizza that was on another street.

So I called, Mountain Mike's Pizza and asked if there was a birthday party for a little girl and I told him her name. The guy that answered the phone told me that there is a party at the moment, but didn't know the name it was under.

I thanked him and told my mom that we were going to Mountain Mike's Pizza. I told her that the guy didn't know who the party was for, but that there was a party going on.

So when we got to Mountain Mike's Pizza we were met with handshakes and hugs. We told them we went to Michael's New York Style Pizza, but nothing was going on there.

My cousin was told by his sister, my other cousin to go to Mountain Mike's Pizza, but maybe he just got Michael New York Style Pizza in his head. Well we waited for him, but he did not show up. After there was a prayer in Jesus name, we ate pizza.

Then my cousin showed up. He said he was waiting there at Michael's New York Style Pizza, but nothing happened. This must have been when mom and I already left. Well, I guess he figured it out like we did.

Anyway, we all made it to my little cousin's birthday party. I talked to some of the people about Bitcoin and Steem. I also mentioned writing on Steemit.

So at least this time mom and I made it to the birthday party. That is good cause I was looking forward to eating some pizza. Oh and I had about 3 birthday cupcakes also.
